From the mountains to the sea

In Friuli Venezia Giulia in the shelter of the mighty Alps and the mediterranean experiences of the Adriatic Sea there are seven golf courses. Close to the sea-town of Grado, which is considered one of the most beautiful swimming spots on the Adriatic, the Grado Golf Club offers an 18-hole championship golf course and a somewhat easier 9-hole course. Along with the game itself, a world-class golf academy awaits you in the shelter of the Grado Lagoon. Playing golf year-round on green surfaces is also promised by the golf clubs in Lignano and Trieste.

Invigorating scenes of diversity

In Slovenia, you can hone your golf skills at many practice ranges and on eight golf courses. Golf has the longest tradition in Bled where outstanding views stretch to the neighbouring alpine peaks from the 18-hole Royal Golf Course and the 9-hole lake course. Both golf courses near world-renowned Lake Bled with its romantic island were designed by the famous Donald Harradine.

Golf amid lakes and mountains

The heart of golf in Carinthia is the Wörthersee Region where there are four courses within a radius of 25 km: Klagenfurt-Seltenheim, Moosburg-Pörtschach, Velden-Köstenberg and Dellach. Stunning vistas of lakes and mountains are also a feature of the Klopeiner See-Turnersee, Millstätter See and Finkenstein on Lake Faak golf courses. Alpine golf awaits you in Bad Kleinkirchheim-Reichenau, while the Drautal golf club enjoys an idyllic location on the River Drau. And Wolfsberg is ideal for beginners.
